Happy St. Patrick's Day

Most of you are not aware of this, but St. Patrick is the patron saint of engineers.  To that end, we are celebrating today in the STEM Academy.  Check out some of the photos coming later today.

EXCITE 1 Human Needs Project

The 9th grade Human Needs Project is about to kick off.  We will start on the Tuesday after spring break.  Permission forms for the first phase need to be turned in before we start on the 22nd.  It is best if students return these before the break.  Information and the permission forms can be found on the wiki under "EXCITE 1".

Open House

Thanks to everyone who came out to open house.  The students have been working hard and working on some interesting projects.  We are glad you got an opportunity to see them.

Open House

Open House is Monday, March 7.  At Open House, you will be able to tour through the classes and see some of the work our students are doing in the Academy.  We will have a presentation by the  Academy Coordinators for parents who would like more information about the Academy next year.  Feel free to see everything going on at CHS and the STEM Academy.  With the short amount of time available on Monday, we will not be able to have one-on-one conferences about individual students.  For those, please contact the teacher directly and set up an appointment so that we can better serve your needs.

Academy Parent Meetings

We will be having 2 more Academy parent information sessions.  The first will be on Thursday, 3/3 at 6:30 in the CHS Library.  The other will be at open house on Monday, 3/7.
