Arduino information

Thanks to all the parents who were able to make it to the Booster Club Meeting on Tuesday.  While there, they got to demo the new Arduino trainer kits the EBC purchased for the Engineering classes.  The Arduino is a very flexible platform that can be programmed in either C or LabVIEW.  With it, we are teaching electronics, digital control, and programming basics.  I am including a few links with more information and also purchase information.

Meeting Reminder

Dear CHS STEM Academy and School of Engineering Parents and Students,

The Engineering Booster Club is having their monthly meeting on Tuesday, Sept 18, 2012 at 7:00 PM in the Engineering Classroom (D110).
At the meeting, we will give parents a chance to experience a new piece of equipment being used in the classroom, the Arduino, funded by the Engineering Booster Club. Mr. Yakubovsky will also demonstrate some of the other computer based learning tools used in the classrooms.  In addition, we will be talking about the upcoming Engineering Expo and fundraising volunteer opportunities and how YOU can help.

We want all parents to be a part of the Engineering Booster Blub as this is one of the main support systems for our engineering program and its students.

If you would like to complete your membership information online, please go to the following link:

We hope to see you there!

Lori Shaw
Engineering Booster Club, President
