The September Booster Club meeting is coming up next week. We will be going over several things of importance to all parents. We will also put on a workshop right after the meeting for all parents. You will get a chance to try out our newest piece of equipment, the Arduino. The Arduino is a programmable board that is used in an ever growing number of devices and components. Parents will go through a short 30 minute workshop to experience what the students will be doing in class this year.
At the meeting, we will talk about the EBC Write-A-Check campaign. This campaign has been very helpful in acquiring many items for the engineering program at CHS, including:
- Arduino training kits (same ones we will use in the workshop)
- TV display board outside the engineering lab
- CD/DVD printer
In addition, we are still looking for an Assistant Webmaster for the Booster Club.
